I'm A Big Girl Now!

My sweet Claire is already 5 months old! A few weeks ago was the week of firsts for Claire. She has really changed this past month and so we made the trip to Babies-R-Us to buy her a big girl toy- the exosaucer! Terry and I remembered that this was Clayton's absolute favorite toy when he was her age! Terry got her out of the stroller and let her try out a few to see which one she liked the best. Of course we started with the pink one, but being the teacher that I am, I had to choose the Baby Einstein one instead. She loves it! Here she is playing with all of the fun toys!








Of course I realized I had made the right choice when she started "reading" her book!








Then on March 7 , we started feeding Claire cereal. She didn't quite know what to do at first. She just moved her tongue around and made a funny face. Then she got the hang of it and we laughed as she kicked her legs and started squealing. Now she loves her cereal and eats it in the morning and at night. Clayton loves to watch her, because now she has discovered how to spit it at us!








Then on Wednesday, March 11th, Claire started rolling over. She had rolled from front to back a few times, but couldn't quite make it over her arm from back to front. Well she loves rolling around so much when we took her to the dr. for her follow up visit they had trouble keeping her on her back to examine her! Now she loves rolling over and playing with her toys!








As you can see, this has been a very eventful month for Claire! It is so much fun to watch her grow and learn!
