So Thankful!

While I was up feeding Claire (at 3 a.m.) on Thanksgiving morning, I was filled with emotions as I thought about all that I had to be thankful for in my life. This still, quiet time is a special gift that God blesses you with when you have a new baby. It is a time that you can spend with Him. God has truly blessed my life! I am so thankful for my Savior and how He saved me! I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who shows Jesus' love by always putting me first above himself and being the Godly leader of our family. I am thankful for my precious children who make me laugh and smile daily. I am thankful for parents who love me unconditionally and who raised me in a Christian home with Godly values. I am thankful to have had such loving grandparents who always made me feel that I was the most important thing in the world! I am thankful for my friends who love me and support me and who love the Lord with all their heart! I love that about my friends! I am thankful for my church and how I hear God's word spoken with truth every time I enter! (Thanks Pastor Phil and Larry!) I am thankful for my job as a teacher! The Lord has blessed me with a career that I love and students that always keep me joyful! And yes, I am thankful for hardships that I and friends and family have had because I know that this brings us closer to our Maker!
