Twas The Night Before Christmas...

On Christmas Eve, we traveled to Kingsport to visit my 85 year old grandmother, Irene. We love her so much and she makes the best homemade fudge! It has been a tradition every since I was a little girl to go to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve.Claire loved watching Clayton open his gifts. She smiled and kicked every time she heard the wrapping paper.
Then after we got home, Clayton had to get ready for Santa. He poured the milk and put out the cookies we had made. Then he sprinkled reindeer food in the front yard that he had made at school. Clayton and Claire sat by the fireplace to watch for Santa for a few minutes. I love to watch my children with the same excitement that I remember having as a little girl on the night before Christmas! Their laughter fills my heart with joy!
He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, And your lips with rejoicing. Job 8:21

Clayton and Claire are both so cute! I wish we could bottle up their excitement and laughter to keep forever! Love the pictures!
