Santa Baby

Clayton, Claire, and I decorated the tree last night. Clayton wanted Claire to sit on her boppy and watch as we decorated. So we decided to dress her for the festivities! My friend Jenny gave us this cute outfit and every since Clayton saw it, he wanted her to wear it. Here she is watching Clayton put up their thumb print ornaments from the Fantasy of Trees. She started to get a little tired on us, but then Clayton started entertaining her by jumping around and singing. She smiled at him! I love watching the two of them together! We always pick out our favorite ornament to hang up first. I always pick the tacky one that Terry and I had made the first year that we met, 1991! It has two stockings on a fireplace and they say "Terry and Amy" and it is made of dough! Clayton loves to hear about how we bought it and why it is so special to me. His favorites are his collection of thumb print ornaments and a gingerbread man that he made at Ms. Karen's when he was two. It has a chunk taken out of the head where he bit it thinking it was a cookie! I can't wait to see what Claire's favorite ornament will be next year! I love the Christmas season!
